The search committee organized to find a replacement for Elizabeth Cook, the outgoing president of the Advertising Club of Greater Boston, is closing in on a decision.
A list published last week, however, contained the names of some candidates but not the finalists.
Maureen McNamara, one-time media director at Arnold Communications and now president of Wallwork Curry, a midsized Boston shop, is said to be competing against Bethany Kendall, executive director of Boston’s Downtown Crossing Association.
Sources had identified candidates for the position as former ad executives Guy Conrad and John Verret, Pile and Co.
