Activeworlds.com, a Newburyport, Mass.-based provider of 3-D technology for the Internet, has changed its name to Activeworlds Corp. Best known for creating software products and online services that allow users to chat and interact in 3-D virtual environments, the name change is meant to reflect Activeworlds Corp.’s wider range of software offerings. Customers include Boeing, Siemens, Juno and Cornell.

Separately, Boston-based DotClick Digital Music Network (www.dmn.com), has rebranded and will now be known simply as the Digital Music Network.
