Priority Pharmacy named Capener, Matthews & Walcher to conduct a marketing campaign for the company’s national expansion. The agency also won a public relations assignment from Taylor Made Golf Co.
Gable/Versaggi Biocommunications was recently awarded a public relations and financial relations program from Sonus Pharmaceuticals.
Tustin, Calif.-based Morgan Marketing & Public Relations was selected to handle the launch of a natural smoking deterrant and a digestive aid for N.Y.-based Badmaev Natural Drugs.
Spear/Hall & Associates picked up three accounts: local restaurant chain FaqueBurger’s; Structural Technology Consultants, which services the construction industry; and Capital Investment Advisor, a financial planning firm.
American Baptist Credit Union chose Triad Marketing to provide customer information services.
Terry Ruscin Advertising was selected to orchestrate a theme marketing project for the Montanosa Apartment Community, owned and operated by BRE Properties and Trammel Crow Residential.

Design firm Shimokochi/Reeves was selected to help promote the World Children’s Baseball Fair, an annual event that unites children from 22 countries. The shop was also hired by Dep Corp. to help design materials for the release of its new product, Topol Plus.
Public relations firm Porter/Novelli added three clients to its roster of healthcare and biotechnology accounts: FlexFoot Inc., Genelabs Technologies and Huntington Medical Research Institutes.
California Technology Enterprise Corp. retained The Pollack PR Marketing Group to manage its pr needs. Management consulting firm Bradley Lambert also hired Pollack PR to handle a corporate identity and communications/marketing strategy assignment.
Nelson & Gilmore added the Manufactured-Housing Group of Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. The agency will handle advertising, merchandising and public relations assignments for the homebuilder.
Wordsmiths Advertising in Woodland Hills, Calif., completed a project to redesign The Independent chain of newspapers in Los Angeles, which include The Hollywood Independent, The Los Angeles Independent, Wilshire Independent, West Hollywood Independent and Edicion Bilingue.
Woodbury University, Burbank, Calif., chose Artime, Crane & Co./Glendale, Calif., to produce support materials. The shop also won an assignment from Roger Engemann & Associates, Pasadena, Calif., to produce its first annual report.
Lapin East/West’s Southern California office picked up assignments for the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show; Fielding’s Travel Guides; Jerry Herman’s Broadway at the Bowl, a musical review which will be available through pay-per-view; Children’s Satellite Network; The Ted Williams Card Co.; and Calvary Hospital.
The Blaine Group was chosen as agency of record by Your Staff, a Woodland Hills, Calif.-based human resources management services company.
Rabuck/Carnie was awarded assignments to develop direct mail and general consumer advertising for the following shopping mall accounts in Southern California: Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, Santa Anita Fashion Park in Arcadia, and Puente Hills Mall in City of Industry. The agency also won creative assignments from Citizen America Corp.’s printer division and the Theater Department of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.
Haller Schwarz picked up three business-to-business clients: Hanjin Shipping Co. Ltd., South Korea; Mercer Investments, a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based company specializing in portfolio management for medical professions; and a project to launch Sonar Safety Systems’ Hindsight 20/20, with an initial budget of $250,000.
The Bohle Co. picked up four high-technology accounts: Alias Research, Toronto, Canada; Interplay, Irvine, Calif.; Paramount Interactive, Santa Clara, Calif.; and San Jose, Calif.-based Crystal Dynamics; and two consumer marketing and pr clients: National Consumer Cable Association, Des Plaines, Ill.; and MCI, Washington, D.C., for work in the 13 Western states.
Cheryl Hirsch Communications/Encino, Calif., was signed by Billy Blues Ford Corp., San Antonio, Texas, to handle public relations assignments for the Southern California debut of Billy Blues Barbecue Sauces.
Healthcare marketing communications company Baxter Gurian & Massei/Beverly Hills, Calif., was awarded advertising and promotional assignments for Lidex and Nasalide by Syntex Laboratories, Palo Alto, Calif.
