Touring Adweek staffers through their huge, humming activation on the first Sunday of SXSW, Jamie Posnanski, head of global content for Accenture Interactive, demoed and described new tech and platforms designed to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving customer journey. That ranges from getting help picking out the right pair of earrings or sunglasses to 3D renderings of kitchen and bathroom renovations to scent-infused VR product integrations. Watch above to learn more about that.

The activation took over Micheladas Cafe y Cantina on 2nd Street adjacent to the Austin Convention Center and also featured numerous next-gen applications that would boost efficiencies around supply chain, shipping and commerce. In the video below, Posnanski points to evolving tech that can model warehouse and other commercial and industry spaces in mind-boggling detail. Brands, Posnanski said, are starting to embrace these new platforms and technologies to keep pace.
