NEW YORK Travel search engine Kayak said it gained a new distribution partner in About.com, the collection of 500 expert sites owned by The New York Times.
Under terms of the multi-year deal, Kayak will power a travel search engine in About’s travel and cities category. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Kayak and other travel search engines like SideStep and Yahoo’s FareChase allow users to search several travel sites for flight and hotel information from a single location.
