AACR Taps Environics for Publicity

BOSTON Environics Communica-
tions has been tapped to publicize the upcoming public forum of the American Association for Cancer Research.

The forum is scheduled to take place March 27 in Orlando, Fla., and will include presentations and conversations with scientists, doctors and cancer survivors.

Support from Stamford, Conn.-based Environics will include a mix of PR and public service ads (mainly in print and on radio), as well as celebrity spokesperson recruitment and media relations, the agency said.

The work is important for Environics because it adds to the agency’s “growing client roster of medical and healthcare associations,” said shop representative Rosalind D’Eugenio. The shop has 70 staffers and also maintains offices in Washington, D.C., Montreal and Toronto.
