Growing up through the menu

In a series of ads touting its new rewards program, McDonald’s tells the story of a woman’s life through those changes—from a plain hamburger to “hold the pickles” to ice cream on a hot day and hot chocolate on a cold one. The central spot follows her to her bachelorette party (and the morning after), and as she starts ordering one Happy Meal, then two, then three.

McDonald’s rolled out the rewards program—a first for the fast food giant—earlier this month.
