NEW YORK Luxottica Retail has hired Pile and Co. to conduct a review of its domestic advertising and media accounts, the consultancy said today.

Media for all brands, mainly handled by Omnicom Group’s OMD, as well as LensCrafters creative, handled by Interpublic Group’s Deutsch, are in play. Both shops handle the work out of their New York offices.

“We’re not participating in the review. We had a great relationship with them for the last 12 years and we’re very proud of the significant growth we’ve contributed to their business,” said Val DiFebo, general manager and managing partner at Deutsch.
