Friends (Season 6, Episode 10) David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox delivered one of the most memorable onscreen dance performances ever thanks to “the routine.” When Ross and Monica land tickets to the filming of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, they can’t quite attract the attention of the cameras. Frasier (Season 7, Episode 12) Frasier Crane and his brother Niles prefer the finer things in life, like expensive sherry, designer suits and traveling first-class. But during this episode, the two find themselves on an old-fashioned road trip along with their dad Martin in his banged-up Winnebago when their New Year’s Eve plans are unexpectedly derailed. 3. Although Don Draper and Meghan take a trip to Hawaii for the holidays in the first episode, fireworks spark during part 2 when the dashing yet unscrupulous Draper hosts a party at his apartment to ring in the New Year and while sneaking out to spend some time with another woman, Sylvia, admits to her that his one wish for the New Year is “to stop doing this.” But just how likely is that? 5. The Office (Season 7, Episode 12) Season 7 of The Office was the last for its star Steve Carell, which meant that the New Year's Eve episode that year was extra special. While the rest of the Dunder Mifflin staff tried to conquer their individual resolutions, Michael was dealing with the fact that his ex Holly hadn’t gotten engaged to her boyfriend A.J., but also hadn’t broken up with him, which resulted in a timely ultimatum. 6. That '70s Show (Season 8, Episode 22) When That ‘70s Show premiered, the story started off in 1976 and by the time it marked its 200th episode in 2006, the timeline had reached the end of 1979, which meant it was time to wrap things up. The series did so in a memorable way by first filling its NYE episode with flashbacks from the character’s past decade (or rather, to when the show first began) before having the entire screen go black when the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1, 1980. 7. Friends (Season 5, Episode 11) In this episode, the gang decide to make New Year's resolutions. Rachel vows to stop gossiping, Chandler wants to quit being so cheeky, Ross aims to try something new every day, Joey wants to learn to play the guitar, Monica wants to take more picture of her pals and Phoebe wants to learn how to pilot a commercial jet.
