DALLAS — Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is looking for a new vice president of advertising and marketing, a position that has been vacant for at least a week following the departure of Bob Merz, the client said.

Merz left “to pursue other options,” according to 7-Eleven representative Dana Manley. It is not clear whether Merz resigned from the post he held for a little over a year or whether he was forced out of the Dallas-based company.
