NEW YORK Dr Pepper/Seven Up has purchased time in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl to air a 7 Up spot called “Slam Dunk,” the company said on Friday. It will be the brand’s second appearance on the game.

The 30-second spot, from WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam in New York, broke earlier this month. It’s among the latest executions in 7 Up’s 5-year-old “Make 7 Up yours” campaign, which features a brand enthusiast who gets carried away with his own marketing tactics.
