BOSTON Baskin Robbins is talking to five agencies about the creative portion of its $10 million ad account.

Competing are: Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Wenham, Mass., and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulous in Boston; MDC Partners’ Kirshembaum Bond + Partners and Omnicom Group’s TBWA\Chiat\Day, both in New York; and independent incumbent VitroRobertson in San Diego, according to a client representative.

A decision is expected by mid-May.

Last year Allied-Domecq-owned Banskin-Robbins in Randolph, Mass., spent $10 million on ads, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
