MIAMI—Here at Adweek, the Super Bowl is also our own Super Bowl. Even though we focus most of our coverage on the multimillion-dollar commercials, it would all be meaningless if not for the actual game being played between the Pepsi and Budweiser ads.

During Super Bowl media night, the National Football League lets its star athletes mingle with the press in a free-for-all event. Inside Miami’s Marlins Park, Adweek spoke with players from both teams facing off on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, about their favorite Super Bowl commercials, their own brand partnerships, and that one company they hope will reach out one day.
