NEW YORK HIP Health Plan of New York has cut to three contenders in a search for an agency to handle its $10 million creative and media account, sources said.

The three shops are Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and Gotham and MDC Partners’ Margeotes Fertitta Powell, all in New York, according to sources.

Eliminated from contention were independents Korey Kay & Partners, Pedone & Partners and Gardener Nelson & Partners, all in New York, as well as the incumbent team of Park South and RJ Palmer.
