LOS ANGELES JPMorgan Chase has cut to three finalists in the review for the media portion of its $300 million ad account, sources said.

They are: the Bank One incumbent, Aegis Group’s Carat; Interpublic Group’s Initiative, which had handled some buying for Chase; and Havas’ Media Planning Group, all in New York, sources said. (The client company was formed following the merger of Chase and Bank One.)

Not advancing were Publicis Groupe agencies Zenith Media in New York and Starlink in Chicago, and independent Horizon Media in New York, sources said.
