CHICAGO-Minneapolis agencies Carmichael Lynch and Clarity Coverdale Fury have dropped out of the review for Leinenkugel’s $1 million advertising account.
Officials at the agencies declined to offer details, but sources said the shops were unhappy with the compensation proposals the brewer was offering. Remaining in the pitch are Bender, Browning, Dolby & Sanderson, Chicago; Jacobson Rost, Sheboygan, Wis.; and Kohnke Hanneken, Milwaukee.
Leinenkugel’s is owned by Miller Brewing in Milwaukee. The account was formerly at Young & Rubicam in Chicago.
