Verizon’s Profit Stung by Oath Restructuring

Verizon Communications Inc.’s core wireless business continued to add customers in the crowded U.S. market, but the company’s quarterly profit was hit by charges related to a restructuring in its struggling media business. (WSJ)

Verizon said Tuesday that it lost 46,000 net pay-TV subscribers for its Fios video service in the fourth quarter, compared with a 29,000 loss in the year-ago period. (THR)
