TV Ratings: Stanley Cup Game 7 Scores 25-Year High for NHL

Wednesday’s contest drew 8.914 million total viewers on NBC and streaming. On TV online, the game got 8.723 million viewers, which still easily tops the previous record of 8.537 million viewers. (TheWrap)

Game 7 scored a 2.5 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. It was up 24 percent on the rating for Game 6 (1.9) and up 25.6 percent on the penultimate game’s total viewership (6.1 million). (Variety)
