TNT, TBS, truTV GM Brett Weitz Exits Following WarnerMedia-Discovery Merger

Brett Weitz is leaving as general manager Of TNT, TBS & truTV. He will be transitioning out of his role in the next 30 days, with his last day marking his 14th anniversary at the TNets. (Deadline)

Weitz, who was GM of Turner networks TNT, TBS and truTV since 2019, had been set to report to Kathleen Finch, chairman and chief content officer, U.S. Networks Group, as part of the new Warner Bros. Discovery leadership structure announced last month. Instead, his position has been eliminated after Finch restructured the U.S. Networks Group. (Adweek)
