NBCUniversal Will Return to Radio City Music Hall for In-Person, May Upfront

Two more in-person events have been added to May’s upfront week calendar, as NBCUniversal has solidified plans to return to Radio City Music Hall and kick off the traditional New York gathering for marketers for the first time since 2019. (Adweek)

The owner of the NBC, MSNBC and USA networks said it would kick off the industry’s annual Upfront Week on May 16, with an evening event aimed at promoting Spanish-language outlet Telemundo, marking a return to at least some of the traditions of the annual market. (Variety)

However, the company is also planning a pair of new “interconnected” events that will lead up to its more traditional upfront offering, as well as participating in the IAB Newfronts. (THR)

The kickoff to NBCU’s spring series will be ONE22, an event started by the company as a way of showcasing its technology, mainly around data and measurement. The March 22 event will be both virtual and live from the company’s Studio 8H. (Deadline)
