Late Night Programming: Jimmy Kimmel and Desus And Mero Set Return Dates, ESPN to Air Disney Sports Films

Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to television on Monday (March 30) with remotely produced episodes. It has not been determined yet whether the show will move back to its regular 11:35 p.m. slot when it comes back with originals on ABC or will remain at 12:05 a.m., following Nightline. (Deadline)

Additionally, Showtime’s Desus And Mero will resume regular episodes on Monday and Thursday nights. The show will originate from the New Jersey home of Joel “Kid Mero” Martinez and the Bronx digs of Daniel “Desus Nice” Baker. (Variety)

Meanwhile, ESPN will air a selection of Disney sports films as part of its Friday night programming starting this Friday. The schedule will help bridge the gap created by the hiatus of most major sports events. (Deadline)
