In Angry Outburst, Alex Jones Says ‘He’s Done Being Sorry’ During Second Defamation Trial

By Brad Pareso

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones tangled Thursday in an explosive courtroom exchange with an attorney for families of Sandy Hook victims who have sued him in Connecticut, prompting an admonishment from the judge—and warning that they could be held in contempt if they violate court rules moving forward. “Is this a struggle session? Are we in China?” he exclaimed during his testimony after being reminded of those who were murdered—and shown a clip of Robbie Parker at a press conference the day after his daughter Emilie died in the 2012 mass shooting. “I’ve already said I’m sorry hundreds of times and I’m done saying I’m sorry,” Jones said. On the stand, Jones caused so many objections and sidebars that the presiding judge at one point turned to the jury and told them, “You’re going to get your exercise in today, those of you who wear Fitbits.” (The Daily Beast)
