Former Republican presidential candidate, businessman and Fox News contributor Herman Cain has died at the age of 74 after contracting the coronavirus. “He’s one of the nicest guys I ever met. He just had this affability, this kindness, this hearty big laugh about him,” said former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer to Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher on Thursday. (TVNewser)

“He’s just an enchanting man and it’s a reminder, Trace, to all of us: take corona seriously,” Fleischer added. “This virus, especially if you are elderly, if you have underlying conditions, it can kill you, and so people need to wear their mask,” he declared. (Mediaite)

Cain reportedly learned that he tested positive for Covid-19 on June 29. He was hospitalized two days later after developing “serious” symptoms, according to a statement shared on his Twitter account at the time. (HuffPost)
