February 2019 Ratings: Fox News Averaged More Viewers Than Any Other Basic Cable Network

February 2019 marked a whopping 32 consecutive months for Fox News as the most-watched basic cable network in total day, with 1.5 million viewers. FNC also averaged 2.6 million total viewers in prime time this month. (TVNewser)

MSNBC is the second-most-watched network across all of cable television for February 2019, and continued its impressive streak of posting year-over-year total audience growth. The network averaged 1.96 million viewers in prime time in February 2019, up 9 percent versus what the network delivered in February 2018. (TVNewser)

CNN is a top 10 basic cable network for the month of February 2019, cracking the top 10 in total day for the 14th consecutive month. In total day viewers, CNN is No. 6, and in prime time, CNN finishes No. 10. (TVNewser)

Fox News and MSNBC are disputing whether Sean Hannity or Rachel Maddow took the No. 1 slot in cable news viewership last month. The other major show at 9 p.m. appears to be finding its niche. Cuomo Prime Time on CNN, hosted by Chris Cuomo, was CNN’s top-rated show in February with 1.287 million overall viewers and 365,000 in the demo. (Mediaite)
