Esquire to Get New Editor as Jay Fielden Exits

Jay Fielden is leaving Hearst Magazines after more than three years as editor of Esquire. (Adweek)

The change at the venerable men’s publication, which started in 1933, is part of a reshuffling under Troy Young, who became president of the publisher in July. (NYT)

In addition to his role leading Esquire, Fielden is the editorial director of Town & Country, a position he will also be leaving. He served as editor in chief of T&C beginning in 2011. (WWD)
