Disney Board Members Beat Shareholder Appeal over Anti-Poaching Pacts

A federal appeals court won’t revive a shareholder lawsuit brought against Bob Iger and other members of Disney’s board for allegedly participating in a conspiracy to enact illegal anticompetitive agreements in the animation industry. (THR / THR, Esq.)

The suit must be dismissed, the court ruled Wednesday, because there was no evidence that most of Disney’s board was aware of any such plot. (San Francisco Chronicle)
