By Erik Oster

WPP global digital agency POSSIBLE hired Zach Gallagher as chief strategy officer, Americas.

In the role, Gallagher will be based in Los Angeles and partner with chief creative officer, Americas Danielle Trivisonno Hawley to “help POSSIBLE further standardize its strategic tools, lead multi-office pursuits, and provide oversight and support for its strategy team” across the region.

Gallagher joins POSSIBLE from Deutsch L.A., where he has served as executive vice president, director of digital strategy for the past two years, working with brands including Taco Bell and Volkswagen. Prior to joining Deutsch he spent three years as director of interactive strategy for W+K Portland, working with clients such as Nike, Facebook, P&G, Old Spice, Coca-Cola and Fiat Chrysler. That followed a year as vice president, general manger for IPG Emerging Media Lab and one as group digital director for TBWA\Chiat\Day before that. He has also spent time in executive level strategy positions at Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Relationship Marketing.

Gallgher’s appointment follows POSSIBLE promoting four to creative director roles last month, as well as Newell Brands selecting the agency to lead its web strategy.
