‘You Are The Parks’ in Grey New York’s Latest for the National Park Service

By Erik Oster Comment

Back in April, Grey New York launched its ongoing “Find Your Park” campaign for the National Park Service ahead of its upcoming centennial, later adding a follow-up print and outdoor campaign showcasing the diversity of National Parks. Now the agency has added a new effort to its ongoing effort for the National Park Service, entitled “You Are The Parks.”

For the latest effort, the agency collaborated with body painter Natalie Fletcher to show park visitors transforming and blending into the surroundings of the parks they visit, from Zion National Park to Federal Hall National Memorial. In the 60-second broadcast spot, which made its broadcast debut yesterday, people are shown already in their body paint while on their way to the parks, initially seeming out of place while driving or making a pit stop for food or gas. Around the midpoint of the ad, the visitors find their way to their respective parks, effortlessly blending into their surroundings. The campaign also features print ads (featured below) showing people and the parks combining to complete an image. It’s a clever addition to the ongoing campaign, drawing viewers in with its unusual imagery while conveying the transformative power of the parks. Bryan-Horseshoe_FullPage-1
