Wunderman Canada, Blast Radius Welcome Cass Zawadowski as Vice President, Creative Director

Cass Zawadowski has joined Wunderman Canada and Wunderman Network digital agency Blast Radius as vice president, creative director.

In the position, Zawadowski (pictured, right) will oversee creative for the agency’s Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver offices, overseeing a brand portfolio that includes GSK, Ikea, BMW and Xbox. She will report directly to Blast Radius chief creative officer Kevin Drew Davis (pictured, left), who joined the agency from DDB San Francisco earlier this year.

“I can’t wait to see the ways in which she moves this company and our work forward,” Davis said in a statement.

A Toronto native, Zawandowski returns to Canada following four years abroad. During that time, she served as global creative director for BBDO Germany, where she served as co-lead for the agency’s P&G account and also worked with brands including Smart Car, Pepsi, Beck’s and Whiskas and also served a stint with Grey New York, working on brands such as Pringles, Playtex, Aquafresh and RadioShack and Cheil Singapore, where she worked on the global Samsung account. She previously served as an associate creative director and copywriter with Saatchi & Saatchi Toronto, working with brands including Toyota Canada and Tide.

Wunderman Canada and Blast Radius president Michel Sergio cited Zawandowski’s international and category experience, as well as her leadership skills as maker her the right fit for the role. “Our diverse work with leading brands demands creative excellence across digital, social, content, and experiences. Cass is that rare talent who excels across today’s modern marketing mix,” he added in a statement.
