Wunderman Acquires FusePump

FusePumpThe world’s largest digital agency network, Wunderman, has acquired FusePump Ltd., “a company specializing in product data and content for digital marketing.”

The move is designed to strengthen Wunderman’s data offerings in Europe. FusePump, based in London, helps companies in retail, travel, mobile and entertainment realize their digital potential by extracting “product data from e-commerce websites and other data sources, making it available for integration into hundreds of marketing channels and advertising applications.”

Wunderman will now have access to such FusePump platforms as BuyNow, “a solution that refers consumers to product offers and allows brands to promote their retail partner offers in other digital channels,” and a suite of affiliate marketing tools, including FeedCreator, WidgetCreator and AdCreator. Adding FusePump augments “Wunderman’s I-Behavior multichannel merchant cooperative database in the U.K. and the company’s digital consumer data from Predictys,” allowing Wunderman to integrate data end to end to help brands reach customers. FusePump’s client list includes Staples, Tesco, ASOS, Sky, Fnac, The Body Shop, O2, Nokia, Sony, HTC, TUI, and lastminute.com.

FusePump will now operate as part of Wunderman’s Data & Insights division, headed by president Gary S. Laben, and will work closely Caroline Worboys, managing director for the division.
