For all of us sad sacks who can’t make the trip to the French Riviera (yet again) and hobnob with the adverati this year, we can at least take solace in the Wrath of Cannes, the annual NYC-based event that’s marking its fourth year with the theme of video/content this time around.
The “other” awards show brought to you by Woods Witt Dealy & Sons will be handing out its Grand Coney to anything video this year (sorry print folks). Entrants must be junior level (2 years experience or less) or have absolutely no experience at all. There is no call for entry, no paper work and no entry fee. Just be sure to bring your work by by 8pm the night of the show, which will be judged in real-time.
Whether you enjoy it or not is a different story, but at least there’s $1 Butternuts beer & ale to swill. Deets below.
