W+K, Barton F. Graf Vet Scott Vitrone Joins Figliulo&Partners as Partner, Chief Creative Officer

Figliulo&Partners hired Scott Vitrone as chief creative officer and the agency’s sixth partner. Vitrone will be tasked with leading the agency’s creative vision while reporting directly to founding partner and CEO Mark Figliulo.

“I’ve always wanted to work with Scott and I am really pleased to welcome him as a partner at F&P,” Figliulo said in a statement. “It’s an exciting time for the agency right now. We placed a bet from day one on being the best home for talent, so with Scott’s reputation and caliber, he’ll fit right in.”

Vitrone parted ways with Barton F. Graf, where he was a partner and executive creative director, in July, also ending a longtime creative partnership with Ian Reichenthal that began at W+K back in 1999. He joined Barton F. Graf from W+K New York in November of 2013, which saw him and Reichenthal reunite with Gerry Graf, who they worked with at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York. At Barton F. Graf, Vitrone worked across accounts including including Little Caesar’s, Unilever, Kayak, Dish Network and Finlandia. While at W+K New York, he and Reichenthal launched the “Whatever’s Comfortable” brand repositioning campaign for Southern Comfort. Other bands Vitrone has worked with over the course of his career include Heineken, ESPN, LG, Skittles, Combos and Xerox.

“I admire the spirit of generosity and transparency that Mark and the partners have created at F&P,” Vitrone said. “It’s a young, independent agency that’s clearly going places. I’m excited to get cracking and help shape the agency’s future.”
