Direct-to-consumer sustainable seafood company Wild Alaskan Company has selected consumer experience agency Sid Lee to lead its national branding initiative as it expands across the U.S., following a review.

“We’re excited to partner with Sid Lee in our effort to accelerate humanity’s transition to sustainable food systems by connecting people to the bounty of Alaskan seafood,” Wild Alaskan Company’s founder and CEO Arron Kallenberg said in a statement. “In addition to their creative expertise, Sid Lee’s team shares our passion for sustainability and social progress. Working closely with Sid Lee, I know Wild Alaskan will be well-positioned to continue innovating, growing and sharing Alaska’s bountiful seafood with our members.”

In the role, Sid Lee will lead an upcoming national campaign for the brand, which was founded in 2017 with a focus on sustainably-caught wild seafood.

“We are thrilled to work with Wild Alaskan Company and connect audiences with sustainable food and practices,” Andy Bateman, who arrived as Sid Lee USA CEO from Deloitte last May, said in a statement. “It is a delightful opportunity to utilize our strategic expertise to push the edges of technology, creativity and sustainability and create work that powerfully links a digital first mindset with fishing and delivery.”

In December, Dos Equis appointed Sid Lee as its U.S. creative agency of record.
