We hear from the Spy line that Canice Neary is going to replace Dennis Ryan as creative lead at the agency. Ryan, if you remember, left for Olson in February and now that the somber reflection is over, we have been told by sources familiar with the matter that if reported, we wouldn’t be sued, so there you go.
Neary has been with the Chicago-based Element 79 for 10 years and has most recently held the title of SVP/GCD, so maybe he was next in line after all. No one is speaking on the record about, but once again, the magic 8 ball says “All signs point to yes.” Before his decade-long stint at Element 79, Neary worked for the likes of W+K and DDB NY.
