Steak, the UK agency, has crossed the pond to open a shop in New York City. The shop had billings of approximately $50 million in 2007 and is opening its doors with the fashion brand French Connection, the luxury lingerie brand Myla and the global mobile-based community FunkySexyCool. Steak is the search-led digital agency, offering SEO and pay per click advertising), online reputation management, mobile search, digital media planning and buying, affiliate marketing and digital creative. Oliver Bishop, CEO,said:

“Having secured venture capital funding from Beringea, we’re continuing our growth by expanding into both America and Australia. We feel the time is right to bring the Steak philosophy to the US.

In the press release, Steak outlined their philosophy, which goes a little something like “using the intelligence of search” blah, blah, blah; being technology agnostic, blah, blah, blah; bringing creativity to search and lastly, acting with restless minds. This latter points means that “Steak is an advocate of change for a better way.
