-Young Hero, a self-described “creative and youth culture agency” based in Brooklyn, has created a launch campaign for Lobos 1707, a new tequila and mezcal brand. LeBron James, who’s backing the brand, makes an appearance.

-Geometry, soon to be VMLY&R Commerce, has appointed Manuel Bordé as global CCO.

-McCann’s global CSO Suzanne Powers has added global president to her title.

-Mother London is returning government money it received at the start of the pandemic. According to the indie shop, it was able to “grow its client base in 2020 and recoup income lost in the initial pandemic financial shock.”

-Students at VCU Brandcenter recently worked with a local high school to help it with a mascot rebrand. Previously known as the Rebels, a nickname associated with Confederate soldiers during the Civil War, the students at Douglas Freeman High School are now the Mavericks.
