-The U.S. Women’s National Team is headed to New Zealand for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the magical islands in the deep South Pacific have rolled out the welcome mat early in a new video. The host nation’s New Zealand Football Ferns have made a very Kiwi greeting for incoming teams and visitors. The call throughout the video is a type of maioha (greeting) given by kaitātaki wāhine (female leader) of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, ahi Kaa, the traditional custodians of the land. It’s part of a greater tourism push by New Zealand since it reopened its borders to visitors since the start of the global pandemic.

-After six years as Verizon’s chief creative officer, Andrew McKechnie is leaving the telecom brand.

-Apple has stated that boosted posts are in-app purchases, meaning they fall under Apple’s policy of taking a 30% cut from in-app purchases.

-Last year, The Stable launched “No College? No Worries,” an executive apprentice program and recruiting initiative for talent without degrees. The program was a great success in Minneapolis, and the agency’s first apprentice has recently accepted a full-time offer with the agency, now part of Accenture Song. The Stable has now decided to launch a second search, this time in its Bentonville, Arkansas location. Applications will be accepted through the end of December 2022, with in-person interviews held in January 2023.
