Wednesday Odds and Ends

Jeff Bridges replaces Tom Brady and talks to a generous tree in this UGG spot from Camp + King. Those fuzzy boots really tie the room together.

-Anomaly helped produce the Converse-sponsored Bedstock, an “all-day in-bed musical festival” launched in partnership with the Children’s Cancer Association’s MyMusicRx. Moby, Jack Johnson and a bunch of other people played. (We like Warpaint, they are pretty good.)

-Don’t Panic managing director and co-founder Joe Wade doesn’t think we need creative directors anymore since it’s all about collaboration.

-Art director Paul B. Feldmann and copywriter Zack Johnson created an endless Hall of Gyllenhaal that will drive you insane in less than 10 seconds.

-TBWA\Group Malaysia appointed Gigi Lee as chief creative officer.

-Flavored syrup brand Torani named San Francisco-based marketing agency Ready State as its agency of record.

-Bicoastal production company Honor Society hired comedy director Lucas Spaulding, who helmed the Burger King/Napoleon Dynamite spot you guys all loved so much today.

-Production company Yessian Music added senior producers Evelyn Brown and Katie Overcash to its New York and Los Angeles offices, respectively, and promoted Emily Brown to senior producer in New York.

-Grupo Gallegos’ California office used to be a multiplex. It now includes a floating conference room and (gasp!) assigned seating.
