-After taking shelter in Ireland for the past four years, WPP is set to return to the U.K. come January, pending 75 percent voting shareholder approval. The move will also result in the launch of a new parent company called, yes, New WPP. link

-Art director Lacey Waterman, who’s worked at McCann and is currently at Yale, is commemorating the 2012 election via custom-made, limited edition gift wrap, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Red Cross to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims (one example above). link

-Along with updating its website, Minneapolis-based production company 612im signed director Wyatt McDill to its roster. Peep his bio here if interested.

-Director Joe Schaak, who helmed Century 21’s first-ever Super Bowl spot this year, signed to the roster of Santa Monica prodco, Superlounge. link

-The battle between IPG and former account executive Ray Volpe over the holding company’s Facebook investment has taken a new twist. link
