We Hear: Revolucion Over?

By Kiran Aditham

So, we placed a couple of calls to NYC-based agency Revolucion and we’ve been told that it is no longer “operating” out of its New York headquarters. Spies say that the agency, which was founded by the late Alberto Rodriguez over a decade ago, is shutting down operations by the end of the year. Calls placed to the Hispanic ad agency, which has worked with the likes of ACE Hardware (created the first-ever national Hispanic ad campaign for the brand) and Palm Bay in the past, confirmed that PR chief Kerri Allen, partner/ECD Roberto Alcazar and fellow partner Amy Gomez are no longer with the agency.

A spy tells us, “A few weeks ago the only account executive left the agency for good (could it be her?) to work with the American Heart Association (one of Revolucion’s clients). And now they have no other option but to close their doors.” We haven’t been given any clear picture as to where Revolucion is operating now, if anywhere.
