We Hear: McCann Clients Will Not Let Joyce King Thomas Go

We’re well aware that Joyce King Thomas is ending her run as CCO at McCann New York at the end of the month, but from what sources tell us, some clients truly don’t want to see her go.

According to a spy familiar with the matter, Weight Watchers and MasterCard have both let it be known that Thomas, despite getting allegedly pushed out by president Thom Gruhler and CEO Nick Brien, must stay or the clients go. So, as an olive branch extension, we’ve been told that Thomas is staying on as a “consultant.” We wonder how that affects her travels to India.
