We’ve heard from multiple sources that SapientNitro North America chief creative officer Kathy Delaney has resigned from her post and is ready to start her own agency. We’ve received neither confirmation or denial from direct agency sources, but from what our sources say, it’s “a disappointing last chapter for Nitro….. and [its] new owner Sapient, who must be wondering what they got for handing over a reported $50m for the agency.”
Prior to spending four years as CCO at Nitro, Delaney racked up 14 years at Deutsch, where she ultimately ended up as CCO/president. We’re wondering if the Mars move played some part in her decision.
