We Hear: Starbucks Group Creative Director Leaves 72andSunny

By Patrick Coffee

Sources tell us that 72andSunny parted with a top creative this week as Michael Bryce left the agency.

Bryce had been a group creative director during his second stint with 72andSunny. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 13 years at Deutsch in Los Angeles and rose to the level of EVP/GCD. He freelanced with 72 and other shops before becoming a full-time CD in 2011, then joined FCB and held the ECD title there for just over a year before going freelance again.

72andSunny named Bryce a GCD early this year after. After the promotion, he worked on Samsung, Tillamook, and more, and we hear that he had been leading the Starbucks account in place of Grant Holland (who left over the summer).

His next moves are not clear at the moment.

Stepping back a bit, several creatives have left 72andSunny in recent months:

This is probably just your standard round of agency comings and goings.
