Volvo Names Forsman & Bodenfors its Global Strategic Creative Agency

Volvo has added Forsman & Bodenfors to its roster of global creative agencies, officially designating the Gothenburg-based shop as its global strategic creative agency. 

“Forsman & Bodenfors’ deep understanding of the Volvo brand, combined with their proven creative leadership, will play a decisive role in the continued transformation of Volvo Cars,” Björn Annwall, senior vice president of marketing, sales and service at Volvo Cars told LBB

“Forsman & Bodenfors has been a fantastic partner for many years, dedicated to growing our business in Sweden and creating many award winning campaigns in the process. We look forward to bringing that same relentless, creative excellence to the global arena,” added vice president of global marketing Thomas Andersson.

The announcement comes on the heels of the agency’s follow-up to its much publicized “Epic Split” ad, “Look Who’s Driving Now,” also the latest in its “Live Test Series” for the brand. Forsman & Bodenfors’ other recent work for Volvo includes the Avicii-starring “A New Beginning” and last January’s homage to winter, “Vintersaga.”

“Volvo is the gem of Gothenburg, and Gothenburg is our hometown,” Forsman & Bodenfors CEO Erik Sollenberg told LBB. “The bond between the agency and Volvo runs deep and long.
