VMLY&R Helps Dell Tell Story of Digital Analyzation Technology

Technology loves ideas, and a new idea by Dell Technologies shows that the company is continuing to innovate with new tools to make people’s lives easier and more efficient.

Partnering with agency VMLY&R, Dell is launching a new global campaign, “Welcome to Now,” which shows how Dell Technologies’ open, simple and purposeful technology can help the company’s clients and customers make the most of their ideas.

“Welcome to Now is a campaign built to recognize the powerful cultural moment we’re in. Never before has technology been so accessible and made it so easy to create new ideas—or push existing ones further,” said Justin Ebert, executive creative director, VMLY&R in a statement.

Dell Technologies partnered with Intel to develop two stories to show how the company is helping bring ideas to life and empowering their customers. The first, “Tourists,” tells the story of tourists becoming citizen scientists, capturing and instantly uploading photos of the expansive Great Barrier Reef. Using Dell technology, those images can then be analyzed at rapid speed to uncover which sections of the reef are in danger. This allows conservationists to preserve the ecosystem more efficiently.

The second video, “Shelves,” tells the story of how smart retailing can transform a shopping experience, displayed as store shelves that can detect when stock is running low and make sure a consumer’s favorite foods are always available.

“Right now is an exciting time for technology. The innovations we’re developing are helping to move the world forward in great leaps. We’re proud of the work we’re doing and what our customers are doing with it,” said Liz Matthews, senior vice president of global brand and creative at Dell Technologies.

The campaign launched at Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas and is rolling out across broadcast, CTV, digital and social.
