VML West Expands with Series of Appointments, New San Francisco Office

VML is expanding its west coast operations with the opening of a new San Francisco office, in addition to a series of appointments.

Cody Winter was appointed as managing director of VML West and will be tasked with growing the VML West business while leading various client engagements and new business opportunities. He will based in the agency’s Seattle office and report to VML West executive vice president Eric Baumgartner. Winter has been with VML since June of 2009, following around three years as manager of Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting.

Camy Tan was named director, global network development and will be responsible for driving integration between global offices across key network clients to operationalize and grow business, working out of the San Francisco office. Tan transitions to the position from VML Singapore, where she led business development strategies for VML growth across the Asia region.

Mindy Lenox rejoins the agency as group director, client engagement at VML West, following two and half years at BGT Partners as a group account director and two years as director at PwC Digital Services. She originally joined VML back in March 2010 and spent three years with the agency as an account supervisor and later account director. In her new role, she will lead the Crystal Cruise and Spruce Financial accounts out of the San Francisco office and report to Cody Winter. 

Julie Fende will continue her role leading the client business on Crystal Cruises as business director, while also being responsible for growing VML West through new business opportunities and organic client growth, reporting to Eric Baumgartner. She has previously held various roles with the agency, since joining as a systems analyst consultant in April of 2009, including lead business systems analyst and technical director. 

Other additions to the VML West team include creative director Tanner Rogers-Goode; Jonathan Grayson, a senior account executive working on Crystal, Spruce and SanDisk; Dae Smith, an account executive working on Microsoft and Scott Balikian as a web producer for Ford.
