Vitro Goes on Hiring Spree in San Diego

By Kiran Aditham

MDC Partners shop Vitro (or VitroRobertson if you’re feeling nostalgic) has built up staff in its San Diego homebase over the past several weeks to accommodate existing clients as well as new business wins including Alaska Communications.

Nearly a dozen people in all have joined various departments across Vitro including creative, account, design and digital. One of the first to head to the West Coast and join the agency, which also counts clients including Asics, Newcastle and PF Chang’s, is Melissa Cherin Davis (left),  who took on the strategic planning director post at Vitro after holding down various senior account/strategy jobs at agencies like Euro RSCG NY, TBWA\Chiat\Day, KBS+P and CP+B. Along with Davis’s hire, Vitro also welcomed Draftfcb Chicago alum Ben Feeney as group account director on Newcastle, Alaska and others.
