Virginia Tackles Corporate Greed in Oddball Anti-Smoking PSA

By Kiran Aditham

It feels like a scene from Miller’s Crossing was spliced into one from Donnie Darko when watching this PSA from Richmond, VA-based agency Barber Martin and director Adam Cameron of LA-based prodco Limey. This particular spot called “Forest”, which is part of a campaign for the Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation, focuses on corporate greed and uses goons, an unstable guy in a bunny suit and desecrated woodlands to send the message. Of course, this is just one of a handful of slightly askew VTSF PSA’s which include names like “Kitten”, “Puppy” and “Texting”. You can peep them along with credits after the jump.
