Shocking Update: Creative/Rapper Behind Ode to Mistress Actually Lands Job at Mistress

Surprise, surprise. Just before the holidays, we told you about a dis rap of sorts from one Gregg Kaysen, a New York-based copywriter who set his sights on L.A. based agency Mistress in his opus, even slighting one of its own copywriters, Guy Helm, in the process.

While the promise of possible retaliation from Helm–who we were told was even reaching out to noted West Coast rapper Too Short for assistance–apparently never came to fruition, Kaysen’s attention-seeking effort initially landed him an interview with Mistress back in December. Well, fast-forward to present day and said agency, which works with clients like Jagermeister, has reported to us that it’s finally hired the lad–well, sort of. We’ve been told that Kaysen has been brought on for a six-month gig at Mistress, though we’re checking to see what his start date/role actually will be.
