While new Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman seems pretty confident that her company will rebound by 2013, the topsy-turvy year that was 2011 for the corporate giant has had a profound effect on at least one of its staffers, who has taken to the interwebs to launch “Real HP Voices.” As you can tell, the site, which appears to have launched just days ago, serves as a platform for HP staffers to raise their voice and concerns about particular topics regarding the company. As the proprietor site says, “I have worked for HP for over a decade and through many management changes but have never felt more pessimistic about this once great company’s future. I simply want to give voice to both the good and bad as I and others see it.”
Seeing as there hasn’t been too much feedback to this particular “Occupy HP” movement as of yet, we’ll stop short of agreeing with tipsters that this could be “the start of HP’s own (digital) Arab Spring.” But hey, that could all change soon enough.
